“The Lord has filled Bezalel with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts.” (Exodus 35:31 NLT)
Process is one of the words the Lord gave me for 2021. He also told me the process must be endured. I had no idea that I’d be stepping yet again into the unknown but this time around, it was on a whole new level. I gave Him my yes when He asked me to build with Him.
Long story short, I’ve build a new business that just launched. There still so much to add to it product wise and the back end of it but I obeyed when God said launch.
HE HAS SURPRISED ME! How many are Your works, Lord! In wisdom You made them all…Psalm 104:24
Each day, I’m reminded that in my weakness He makes me strong, HE is sufficient and to not lean on my own understanding.
I now understand why He said, “the process must be endured.” When I start something, I tend to just go with it. Sometimes I think too much…yes, that’s a thing and in that process of critical and analytical thinking (too much of it) I realize I stopped asking the Holy Spirit questions and relied on me. At the height of frustration, He reminds me that I took a detour then brings me back to His will and process. Surrender, yielding and complete dependency on God isn’t new to me but building from the ground up is. I’ve owned businesses in the past but outsourced majority of my products. Now, I’m making them with my hands. I’m learning the process of research, testing and building. The lotions, body butter and perfumes are hand made and the process has not been easy.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” (Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT)
God is showing me the gift in my hands isn’t what I can do in my own strength, but what He can do through me. My yes isn’t the whole picture but a crack at the door to creative wonder. When I let Him lead, He uses my hands to fashion something beautiful. Because it’s His production, I know it’s blessed, favored and anointed.
“The Lord has given them special skills as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet thread on fine linen cloth, and weavers. They excel as craftsmen and as designers.” (Exodus 35:35 NLT)
What about you?
What are you working on? Give God your yes and lean on Him in the process. He will never steer you or I wrong and He knows the entirety of that project. Remember God projects need God strategies and directions.
Love & Blessings! Eunice.
