It’s been a while since I graced the blogging space. I am excited to be back to share what God puts on my heart. My sabbatical as I’d like to think of it was quite the season of pruning, molding,…repeat. To be honest, it was more than one season of growth, more than a wilderness, more than a stretching of faith and quiet trust. There were days I felt like God was physically stretching me, weeks I felt the crushing would never stop and there were those days I didn’t want to leave Gods presence because I felt Him so deep within me. Those days of blissful union kept me submitted when the hard moments came. There were layers of past seasons I’d clung to that needed to be peeled off of me and I wasn’t too keen to let go. They had become my comfort zone, my safety space and what I’d gotten used to.
I’ll tell ya friend, when God means business, there is no where you can hide from His presence. Our free will is not a ticket to skip town when your heart already belongs to Him. The process must be endured when there is a destiny attached to your life. There are no workarounds, no shortcuts and no skipping the hard and crushing moments. You cannot bury your head in the sand when the enemy attacks just because it’s hard, you must rise and war in prayer, clinging fiercely to the One who conquered it all – Jesus Christ.
Growth comes at a cost and an investment must be made so we can be all God desires us be and become.
Like always, everything I share will be Holy Spirit led. I look forward to connecting with you, hearing your testimonies and going deeper into the glory.

I’m so glad I found your blog as I’m in a new season. I’m currently shifting from one season to another and I really needed this encouragement.
Hi Kerrie,
I’m so glad this encouraged you. Season changes are not always fun but they are necessary and when we shift with Him, we remain aligned to Him.
