Exodus 31:3 and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills
Today is picture day for my products. I wanted to take great pictures that will make them pop. I love playing with colors but I found myself shying away from my norm because I want every picture to draw in a customer.
While staging and snapping, I felt myself go to a place of uncertainty and funk so my pictures were not good according to my standards. Well, to my critical eye I didn’t like them one bit. I struggled with being still and allowing the Fathers guidance, love and peace settle me and became too critical.
Zechariah 4:6 So he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty.
I’m so grateful for the Holy Spirit who snatched me out of that critical space. I walked over to my daughter who was listening to music. She asked me if I’d heard of the artist Ann Wilson’s “My Jesus.” I said no. She put the song on speaker and as I heard the words, tears started streaming down my face. I felt so connected to Jesus, so applauded by Him and every trace of my negative funk fell off of me. Ann Wilson (My Jesus)https://youtu.be/KL475Wik0iY
Jesus used my daughter to get my attention. It’s not by my power or might but by His Spirit that I will complete what He’s called me to. Where darkness tried to creep in….a child’s heart for Jesus was the conduit to bring in light!
